Resurfacer is Semper Amate's Vitamin A treatment — the gold standard active for cell renewal, collagen stimulation, and long-term skin transformation. Available in two formulas tailored to different skin tolerances, Resurfacer delivers the proven resurfacing and anti-aging benefits of retinoids while managing the irritation that makes many people abandon Vitamin A before seeing results.

Resurfacer A is formulated for sensitive skin. A gentler retinoid delivery designed to minimize the initial adjustment period — dryness, flaking, and redness — that commonly causes people to give up on Vitamin A too early.
Resurfacer B is formulated for all skin types. A more direct retinoid formula for skin that's either already adapted to Vitamin A or ready to begin with a standard strength.

How to use:
Apply a pea-sized amount to clean, dry skin 2–3 nights per week to start. Skin must be completely dry before application — residual moisture accelerates penetration and increases irritation risk. Wait 10–15 minutes after cleansing. Always follow with a barrier-supportive moisturizer (Repair or HydraGel). Increase frequency gradually over 4–6 weeks as skin adapts. Never use on the same night as acid exfoliants.

The retinoid adjustment period:
Expect some dryness, mild flaking, or sensitivity in the first 2–4 weeks. This is normal — not a reason to stop. Slow your frequency if irritation is significant; do not stop entirely. Most people find a sustainable rhythm by week 6.

*Which formula should I choose, A or B?
New to Vitamin A, or had irritation before → Resurfacer A. Experienced with retinoids or normal/oily/combination skin → Resurfacer B.

*Can I use Resurfacer while also using Clear (Acne Gel)?
Alternate nights only. Vitamin A + acne gel on the same night is too much active load for most skin.

*How long until I see results?
Initial texture improvement is visible by 6–8 weeks. Significant collagen and anti-aging results develop over 3–6 months of consistent use. Vitamin A is a long game — but the payoff is real.

*Why is this $75?
Quality retinoid formulation is technically demanding. Vitamin A is unstable and degrades when exposed to light, air, and heat. Proper encapsulation and packaging to maintain efficacy isn't cheap. The price reflects formulation quality, not marketing.
